- Hi Danny,
"Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men." (Prov 8:30-31)
It is verses like Prov 8:30-31 and 1Peter 1:11 that brought me to the conclusion that "the spirit of Christ" was breathed into Adam when God breathed into his nostrils the "breath of life" (ref. Genesis 2:7) I say this because it says: "as one brought up with him". What do you think about this info?
And in John 5:19 Jesus says he does what he seeth the father do: "but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." (John 5:19)
"And when he had said this, he(Jesus) breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost" (John 20:22) Hi Ed J, It's interesting that Jesus did not say Receive ye the Spirit of Christ......... Peace to you! Danny |

| Hi Ed J,
Thank you for helping me to understand that the Father is the ONLY God. On the point of pre-existence I’m still not sure.
God Bless you.

Danny Yesterday, I prayed to the Father AND the Son for salvation and truth. I feel that there is something wrong. I have a problem to believe that God the Father was at one time not the Father. For there cannot be a Father without a Son. Do you agree? Peace!
You're welcome Danny, and no and here's why: Can a father be a father before a child is brought forth? That question and the question of preexistence can both be answered in the following from Proverbs: "I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth" (Prov 8:23-25) Jesus also said he came forth from God: "Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God" (John 8:42) _______________ God bless Ed J |

HE WAS CHILD OF THE HOLY GHOST. JEHOVAH WAS HIS FATHER LIKE FATHER LIKE SON JESUS HE CAME OUT FROM GOD JOHN 16 V 27 Jesus said if you seen me you seen the Father Hi FredandMary, Theomatics (the numbers of Scripture) proves unequivocally that "God the Father" is father to the spirit of Christ: .................................................."God the Father"=117 (Matt 1:18) "before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost." = 117-th prime number Thank you FredandMary for pointing this out on another thread! ____________ Your brother in Christ Ed J |

Hi FredandMary, Tithing was an ordnance given to the fledgling nation of Israel to help take care of the poor. As was leaving the corners of the fields unharvested so that the poor were taken care of. In "The USA" we have taxes and government programs that are used for this purpose. _____________ God bless Ed J |

It doesn't bother me what people believe regarding preexistence, though. |
