People are becoming more and more apprehensive about the future, as we experience a proliferation of natural disasters, with increasing political and economic problems, coupled with shortages of food and resources, mostly due to overpopulation.
But, the most obvious and the prophesied flash point of danger is the Middle East. The very existence of the State of Israel in their midst is an anathema to all the Islamic peoples. Psalm 83 lists the origins of those people who will conspire to ‘wipe out Israel as a nation’. When their attack commences, God will then answer the prayer of Psalm 83:13-18 Scatter them, my God, like thistledown, as a fire raging through the forest. Terrify them with Your storm winds, let them suffer disgrace and perish.

Many prophecies state how the Lord will act on this Day of His vengeance and wrath:
Micah 4:11-12 But now, many nations are massed against you, they say; Let Zion suffer, we will gloat over her downfall. They do not know God’s purpose – He has gathered them as sheaves for the threshing. Matthew 13:30
Psalm 37:13-15 The Lord will laugh at the wicked, their judgement is coming. They have prepared their weapons, but their swords will pierce their own hearts.
Isaiah 66:15-16 See: The Lord is coming in fire, bringing His retribution and anger. He will judge with fire and sword to test all mankind. All the wicked will die.
Deuteronomy 32:41-42 I will sharpen My flashing sword and take vengeance on those who hate Me. Nahum 1:2
Malachi 4:1 The Day comes, burning like a furnace, all evildoers will be as stubble, destroyed in a fiery blaze. 2 Peter3:7, Hebrews 10:27
Isaiah 30:26-33 The sun will shine with seven times its normal brightness. On that Day He will protect and save His people. See; the Lord Himself comes from afar, His anger blazing and His doom heavy. With fire, He sieves the nations for destruction. Isaiah 63:1-6, Rev. 6:12-17 Ref: REB, some verses condensed.

There are many other Bible passages that describe this Day. What we can establish from them is;
1/ It is this event that takes people unawares – that ‘comes as a thief’. Much later, for the glorious Return of Jesus, we are given the exact time from certain events.
2/ It will be a worldwide event, of 24 hours duration. Isaiah 29:5-6, Psalm 50:1
3/ The Lord will actually cause fire to destroy His enemies, by the means of a CME sunstrike. Their own weapons will contribute to their destruction, the heat flash and the intense electromagnetic pulse will make rockets and explosives detonate on the ground. Psalm 7:12-16
4/ His Righteous people will be kept safe and in a short time –Isaiah 29:17, they will gather and settle in the new country of Beulah – Isaiah 62:4, Isaiah 35:1-10, Jeremiah 31:7-14, Ezekiel 34:11-31

I do not see any significance in converting the 1260 days into years. Confirmed by the reiteration of 42 months and 3.5 years.

Living once again in the Holy Land:

Ezekiel 11:17-20 I shall gather My righteous people from among the nations and give the Land of Israel to them. I will give them a new spirit so that they will conform to My statutes and keep My Laws. They will be My people and I will be their God.
Although some of the House of Judah has returned to a portion of the Promised Land, they have not fulfilled God’s plans for His people. That is; to be a light to the nations, His people in the world, preaching the coming Kingdom of Jesus. Matthew 21:40-43 The Owner of the vineyard will come and deal with the bad tenants, He will bring those criminals to justice. We who have been brought up on New Testament precepts of “love your neighbour” and peace and goodwill toward all, have some difficulty with verses such as;
Nahum 1:2 The Lord is a God of vengeance, He will punish His enemies.
Deuteronomy 32:41-43 When I set My hand to judgement, My sword will devour flesh, I will punish all those who hate Me and will cleanse My peoples land.
Luke 3:16-17 ..He will baptize with the Holy spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork in His hand, He will gather the good grain into the store, but the chaff will burn forever. Isaiah 33:10-12
The Lord is the potter, it is His creation, His aim is to have a people who freely choose to love and serve Him. Isaiah 29:16, Romans 9:22-23

Zechariah 13:8-9, Isaiah 4:3 Those new Israelites will receive the great blessings as promised to the Lord’s people and will live in the Land in peace and security until the time of the Anti Christ. For 3½ years, they will go and live in a place of safety, Revelation 12:14, referred to as Bozrah; [Hebrew = glad tidings] the sheepfold, then to go back at the Return of Jesus for His Millennial reign. People say: When do you think we will finally get over our insatiable need to know the future?
Keras answers: When the last Days are finally over.

That the last days are NOT yet over is readily apparent by the fact things now, are as they always were. Jesus hasn’t Returned yet and the extensive prophesies of Revelation [plus most all through the Bible] await fulfilment. Some say the events described in Acts 2:14-21 are the fulfilment of Joel 2:28-32. Peter said what Joel prophesied was for the last days, Acts 2:17, so what happened then was just a preview, that didn’t last for long, of what is yet to happen. That what happened then was not the final fulfilment of Joel’s prophecy, is proved by the preceding verses of Joel 2, how the Lord does great things for His people, how they will live in peace and prosperity: AFTER He has carried out His terrible Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath judgement/punishment.
That Day will be preceded by: portents in the heavens and on earth, blood, fire and smoke. The sun will be darkened and the moon will look like blood before that great and terrible Day. This will be the Sixth Seal event: Revelation 6:12-17 and from all the other prophesies of what will occur then, we can know what it is the Lord will do. He will instigate a massive explosion of the sun, Isaiah 30:26, Malachi 4:1, a CME of unprecedented proportions; that will literally fulfil all the graphic prophesies of that Day. It will ‘roll up the atmosphere’, it will ‘burn like a furnace’, it will cause ‘worldwide earthquakes’, it will push our hundreds of satellites back to earth ‘like figs blown off the tree in a gale’, and it will make ‘the moon glow bright red’, as the superheated hydrogen plasma of the CME reacts with the lunar dust.

So quite rightly, we can call out those false teachers who have promoted the ‘blood moon tetrad’ theory and their harbingers, etc. But we cannot say the prophesies about the Day of the Lord’s wrath against the nations are fulfilled or won’t happen.
This sudden and shocking world changer will happen as prophesied and we who study the scriptures should know about it. Thinking that God won’t do anything about His Creation, that is now so obviously in a state the same as ‘in the days of Noah’, is simply wrong and is saying to Him: We don’t care about Your warnings and information given to us through Your prophets.

The Lord's people are all who believe in Him. It follows that they also obey His Commandments.
They will be from every tribe, race and language, Rev 7:9, but in order for God's promises to the Patriarchs to be fulfilled, the majority will be descendants of Jacob. That is the tribes of Judah and Benjamin; the Jewish people and the ten Northern tribes, who are still scattered among the nations. Who are, mainly, the Christian Western peoples.

The fact that the Lord will use the sun, His storehouse, Deut. 32:34-35 & 22, for His Day of wrath against the nations, is stated in Isaiah 30:26.
A CME sunstrike onto the earth will literally fulfil all the many graphically described prophesies about that terrible Day. It IS what will happen and many secular people, government and military, are aware of this and are busy preparing hideouts for themselves. But God has blinded most Christians, because it will be our test of faith and many will fail this test, especially those who have gripped onto the pre trib rapture theory.

Revelation 1:1-2 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him so that He might show His servants what must soon take place. Happy is the one who reads aloud this prophecy and happy those who listen and take to heart what is written, for the time of fulfilment is near.

THE SCROLL;
Rev.5:1-14 The Lamb of God [Jesus Christ]is the only one worthy to reveal God’s plan to mankind. By His atoning death, the Lord Jesus purchased people and will make them to be a Kingdom and priests to serve God. He will reign and those who are His own will reign with Him.
Rev. 6 The ‘Lamb’ broke the first five seals - this must have been done in ancient times as these prophecies have already commenced, as in Zechariah 6 and with the persecution of Christians.
Zechariah 6:1-8. These are parallel verses about the four horsemen who range over the earth. They were released and given power over a quarter of the earth’s people. This is actually about the number of people killed by wars, famines, disease, etc, since then and still to come, before the Return.
Matthew 24:5-8 There will be wars, famines and earthquakes in many places.

THE FIFTH SEAL- tells of those saints who have been killed for their faith, throughout the ages. They wait for the completion of their numbers, now and up to the end.
Therefore, the first five seals have been opened. The world and all its people are now suffering under these curses. But it gets worse, for the next event must be:

THE SIXTH SEAL –
Rev. 6:12-17 A great earthquake, the sun is darkened, the moon red, stars fall to the earth, the sky will be like a scroll rolled up. People will hide in caves from the wrath of the Lord.
Isaiah 2:12-21 On that Day, the Lord will arise and strike the world with terror. People will hide in caves to escape the dread presence of the Lord.
Isaiah 34:1-5 The Lord’s judgement descends on the people doomed for destruction, for the Lord’s anger is against all the nations. The sky is rolled up like a scroll.
Joel 2:1-11 The Day of the Lord is coming – a Day of darkness, the earth shakes, a vast and countless host appears, the like has never been known, nor will be again. Their appearing is a devouring fire, the flame of their passing leaves a desolate wasteland.
Isaiah 13:9-13 See, the Day of the Lord is coming, a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger – to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it. The sun and moon will be darkened as I punish the world for its evil. The heavens will tremble and the earth will shake.
Isaiah 30:26-28 On the Day that the Lord saves His people, the sun will shine with seven times its usual brightness. The Lord will come from afar, His anger blazing and His doom heavy, His breath a devouring fire. Reference: REB some verses abridged

None of these prophecies can be related to the Return of Jesus in His glory, or the sheep and goat judgement. The Trumpet and Bowl punishments of the Tribulation will happen in the 3½ years before the Return.
Revelation 7:1-8 After that, [the 6th seal] the four angels hold back further destruction until God’s seal is set onto the 144,000 servants of God. Isaiah 66:19, Isaiah 49:6
So, we see that before God’s seal is set on His servants, those Israelites who go out to preach the coming Kingdom of God, a terrible cleansing will take place to prepare for the return of His people, righteous Israel, to the Promised Land.
Isaiah 30:26 -This will be caused by a coronal mass ejection [sunstrike] hitting the earth.
Ambient temperature say, 25o Celsius x 7= 175o, approximately the heat required to cook food. This will result in extensive deaths and destruction. Fires will destroy cities and forests, resulting in huge smoke clouds, covering and darkening the earth. Isaiah 33:10-12, Psalm 18:7-15
