Intelligent design₅₈ is the Christian-based belief that argues against Darwin's theory of evolution. ID states that life - especially human life - is too complex to have evolved on Earth. There are some BIG problems here though. ID supporters often interpret the Bible's timeline literally and claim that this universe and Earth are only 6,000 years-old. They feel they must take this anti-science stance to support their religious beliefs. Here exists the common mistake of the 'A or B question', which in this instance is choosing between (A) a Father₅₈ GOD created universe, Earth, and humanity vs. (B) a universe, Earth, and humanity created through evolution and other science₅₈ based explanations. But let's not ignore choice (C) 'both of the above', where there is a Creator who used the Big Bang of 13.75 billion years ago to create this universe and used universal constants, cause-and-effect, probability, and math-based scientific methods already proven effective long ago in other universes within The Conglomerate (multiverse) to create life-sustaining planets like Earth and intelligent humanoid life.


The term "Big Bang" originated as a derogatory remark by someone who didn't take seriously the concept of a singularity mysteriously exploding into what eventually became this universe as we know it. The Roman Catholic Church, which had been getting 'beat up' over creation and scientific issues since Galileo before 1640, immediately embraced the Big Bang theory since it provided an explanation of the beginning of this universe, thereby providing support for a creation. And where there's a creation, there must be a creator. The Vatican has recently also supported the possibility of other worlds like Earth with extraterrestrial life.

When Watson and Crick mapped the human genome, they announced that "There hasn't been enough time for human DNA to have originated on Earth." This insinuates that DNA is extraterrestrial in origin or it magically appeared (which is never a scientific explanation).
