Hi Everybody,

How can we keep from getting hurt when we make ourselves vulnerable to others?
Satan wants us to turn the switch off and be miserable, but that is not the way.

There are three things:

1. Power
2. Money
3. Information

Power, Money, & Information, are the three things
that we put in the care of others and sometimes we
are abused. We do it because of our child-like trust in
others, which is Good. This is not something to loose out
on the benefits of because of previous experiences. So the question is:

How can we keep from getting hurt when we make ourselves vulnerable to others?
Satan want's us all to mouse up. Never give no-one power over us. Never give
anyone information that can be used against us; oh yea, and money too.

That leads to a miserable life, something I would not recommend.
So what do we do? I believe I have the answer we all need.

That is what this thread is about. I'm looking forward
to hearing all your views on this important topic. : )

Problems with money power information but maturity growth in the Lord helps to overcome these

Hi all.
Well just want to say that I think we can't help from getting hurt. We may get hurt in this life part of being vulnerable. I think christians are called to be wise as serpents and gentle as a dove. We need to forgive those that hurt us as the Lord requires of us. If we don't forgive we just hurt ourselves.

I think we need to let go of the baggage every day and begin again. We can also ask God for wisdom ..he promises he will give it.
Thank God for new beginnings every day.

Hi Everybody, I want to thank you all for your responses!

How can we keep from getting hurt making ourselves vulnerable to others?
Well, what I do is: put everyone to the test regarding these three things:

1. Power
2. Money
3. Information

Here are some examples of how I put people to the test:
With money, I give people opportunity to steal from me
with no repercussions to their actions. In most cases
they might not know that I was even aware of it.  

If they ever do steal from me, then I watch my wallet
when they are around so that it won't happen again.

With regard to Information, I tell people things about me that, if repeated, would hurt me.
That way, I can remember who I told what to and, I tract down the information breach.
And if they use information against me, I seal up like a clam.

With regard to power, I put people in positions of power over me,
and if they abuse me, I make sure they never have power over me again.

Making ourselves vulnerable to others is where the fun is.
I do not want any of you to miss out on this joy of life!
