1) It was a bit more than that, though the water didn't help. I have been referred to a specialist (heart) but am on calcium channel blockers until then, and they are really helping.

Yes thank you I am ok. Still waiting to see the specialist, there was an error in appointments, and so my Doctor is onto that (my fault I didn't tell her I had not received an appointment in the mail). Um... Blood pressure still high despite being on medication for it, though the chest pains have gone. Um... I don't know what is causing the HBP. I feel it (In my arms, head, breath even). I can feel my heart pounding. If I miss a pill, by even an hour, my chest is sore. I know the computer makes it worse (Oh, I have a computer back again!! :o)

Let me tell you what happened to me recently
Sunday night (1/5/14) I was seeing smoke that wasn't there.
I had ate some bad dried fruit that must have caused a brain aneurism.

Monday I had a bad headache behind my eyes, and blurred vision in my left eye.
Also my eyes were not tracking well together when I was moving my finger around.
And when I got up to go the bathroom at night, I felt like I weighed 60 to 70 pounds more.

But what I found the most troubling was that my brain wasn't working properly.
My short term memory was severely impaired, and I had to question everything
I did because my brain just wasn't working properly. I found this most troubling.

So Monday (1/13/14), I got a CT scan (cat-scan) and Tuesday I went to see a specialist.
He looked at the CD of the cat-scan and scheduled an MRI - which I had done that day.
His receptionist scheduled re-appointment with the specialist to discuss the results on the 28th.

The Dr. that ordered the cat-scan (1/13/14) said it was a lesion , the specialist (1/14/14) called it a little spot.
So I really don't how serious it is until then. But I can tell you this, thank God my brain is working again.
and my eyes are tracking together again. And I feel like I weigh the normal amount again too.

I also had problems in the past with vertigo, so these symptoms may be interrelated.

Yes I heard about that. Sorry to hear abut your problems. Are you on any medication yet? It must have been scary, thank God you are OK, or feeling better now.

Well I have stopped taking my BP/heart medication, I think it was making me worse, well it was making my mind dull, and slightly depressed. I feel better off it, though I am only weaning off slowly.

My relations died of cerebral hemorrhage (sp) at a young age (late 40's I think), so it worries me. I smoke and they also smoked. Those who didn't smoke on their side did not die young, even though they had HBP. My Doctor believes I have a heart condition, but where I live it is hard to see a specialist sometimes, it can take months.

I Just got back from seeing the Specialist (on 1/28/2014).
He said it was good news, It wasn't a tumor, nor an aneurism.

He called it a 'cavernoma', and said I was born with it. He also said
there is no need to operate, but wants me to get another MRI next year.

...so it looks like the poisoning from eating the bad dehydrated fruit exacerbated a preexisting condition. ......(case closed)
