We; as true christians should not teach reincarnation.
It is an eastern religion, and has nothing to do with
the gospels.

John did not come as Elijah, but he came in the spirit of Elijah.
John himself denied that he is Elijah.

If everyone is reincarnated at death;then why should there be a day appointed for the resurrection?
There is a day set for the resurrection, and that day is at the second coming.

The dead are still in the graves waiting for their graves to be opened
at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised and meet the Lord in the air. And the ones that are alive will be changed in a twinkling of an eye.

All the dead are now still in their graves, except Jesus and the 24 elders.

wakeup.

Hi Wakeup,

How come all those claiming reincarnation, were always Pharaohs, and Kings?
Where's the guy that was a leaper in ancient India or a janitor from ancient China?

Hi Wakeup,

My point was: that all those who claim that they were somebody else (reincarnated) also always
claim that they were somebody special in a previous life, rather than a reincarnated nobody.

Ed,

Wrong. Do some research before you make such a conclusion and a generality at that. There's all sorts of documented examples of those recalling previous lives where they weren't famous! There's thousands of documented examples.

(It is you who need to) Wakeup,

Wrong on every point(74)! "True Christians" should imitate the Christ and always seek the truth. The early Church was split on the issue of reincarnation - do some research before acting like you're an authority! There are many books on Reincarnation and Christianity, google that. Clement & Origen of Alexandria were the leading intellectuals of their day and they not only taught transmigration-of-the-soul/metempsychosis, they taught that Y'shua taught it!

"He who hath ears to hear, let them hear" - Jesus explaining that those initiated in the ancient Mysteries will understand references to reincarnation and sacred geometry/gematria while those who haven't been won't.

John the Baptist was Elijah reincarnated and Jesus said so! John did NOT deny that his eternal soul had been Elijah in a previous life. Jesus son of Joseph was 'God incarnate' just like his eternal soul* had been the 'God-guy' in the Guardin' of Eden.

Today is the day that everyone is or has been resurrected. 'Resurrection' was originally a synonym for 'rebirth'. GOD/Nature is constantly and omnipotently using the cycle of birth-life-death-rebirth. Here at spring - like the original Easter Sun-day of April 9, 30 AD, life is born-again.

For you or anyone to literally believe that skeletons are going to come alive and not only walk among us, but then meet the Christ in the clouds and be swept away into space together is incredibly illogical, un-scientific, mythological, medieval, and childish.

WAKE UP!

Ed,

Yes, we all have our own eternal7 soul4 which passes thru time by reincarnation. This has now been scientifically proven as I was Albert Einstein in my last incarnation. See Seal #7: Reincarnation Theory & its 23 Principles.

Reincarnation is not real, there is "translation" and "resurrection" in a new heavenly place, with a new form of body, the same body/likenesses that Jesus resurrected himself in, but no reincarnation.

John wasn't Elijah, he never claimed to be Elijah, that prophesy was simply wrong as was other elements of prophecy. John also warned of wrath, Jesus didn't bring wrath only a loving revelation of the heavenly Father.

Reincarnation seemed to evolve from speculation, an idea among people who did not know the truth of salvation.

There is life, salvation or eternal death.

PostSubject: Reincarnation is very real!   The holy bible does not teach reincarnation. Empty5/16/2013, 22:23

Colter,

Wrong. Reincarnation is very real and is no longer 'just' a religious belief; it has been proven through the scientific method. Benjamin Franklin believed in the transmigration of the soul and planned on continuing his mission of keeping the fragmented country together while abolishing slavery in his next life. And his eternal soul accomplished this as Franklin returned as Abraham Lincoln. How else to logically explain the genius of Lincoln who had only one year of education in a pioneer school house? Was it a 'coincidence' that one of the five books that 11-year-old Abraham had was the Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin that was written as a guide for a specific youth?!

And who was Lincoln reincarnated as? At the 2004 Einstein Conference at the Aspen Institute, five different presenters including a Nobel Prize winner and Institute Director Walter Isaacson compared Ben Franklin to Albert Einstein.

"Jesus didn't bring wrath". WTF? You don't think the Israelites received GOD's wrath with them losing their war against the Romans, having Herod's Temple destroyed, and losing their homeland for 1,877 years?! Slap yourself.

'Eternity' is all of time: including the past, present, and future. You don't believe in eternity, you believe in perpetuity. And any Christian who doesn't believe in reincarnation, can only explain "the return of the Christ and the resurrection of the dead" by their belief in zombies!

Your beliefs seem pretty fundamentalist. It appears you won't be able to recognize the reincarnated Christ. You'll have to be born again to get it!

The next time somebody asks you if you are open-minded to reincarnation, tell them, "No and I didn't believe in it in my last lifetime either!"

Hi Brad,

If reincarnation were true, then everybody would *NOT*
have a spirit their own, but the spirit of someone else.

Do you not see this dilemma?

Ed,

Everyone has their individual eternal soul and is constantly reincarnated through time. Nature has a clear cycle of birth-life-death-rebirth. Spirit is a group thing. Soul and spirit are sometimes closely connected, yet the definitions of the two are different, i.e. One's eternal soul can reflect the spirit of GOD & GOOD.

Eternity is all of time: including the past, present, and future. Christian fundamentalists don't believe in eternity, they believe in perpetuity: starting at a point in time and continuing forever into the future. And any Christian who doesn't believe in reincarnation, can only explain "the return of the Christ and the resurrection of the dead" by their belief in zombies! They believe that skeletons of the dead - some dead for thousands of years - will supernaturally reconstruct when the Christ returns and dig their way out of their graves (or emerge from the sea if they were buried there) and walk the streets. "Thriller!" surprised
