In researching the history of Greek isopsephy (gematria) - the alphanumeric quality of a language - we are pointed to Pythagoras, the Pythagoreans, and Plato. There is an ancient Greek motto: "God is ever a geometer" (ἀεὶ ὁ Θεὸς ὁ μέγας γεωμετρεῖ), whereas, counting the letters of the words (3,1,4,1,5,9) reveals the first six digits of pi (3.14159). This confirms that 'Step 1' of Greek gematria was/is simply counting the number of letters in a word/name/phrase with that number having connections and symbolic meaning7, and that 'Step 2' is the alphanumeric sum of a word/name/phrase with that number having connect74ions and symbolic meaning. Hebrew, Arabic, and English gematrias also use these Steps 1 & 2, i.e. Liberty7 Bell4 and John4 Hancock7. July 4th = 7/4 and GOD3=7_4. The simple fact that the words 'God' and 'One' have three letters and Christians traditionally think of the One GOD as the Holy4 Trinity7 is no 'coincidence' - it's by design58!
