Simple(6,74) English(7,74) Gematria(8,74) has two steps. Step #1 is simply counting the number of letters in a word/name/phrase and giving it symbolic meaning, i.e. GOD(3) and the Holy(4) Trinity(7). Step #2 is the alphanumeric code/cipher of A=1...Z=26 with the only irregularity the circle: O = 15 or 0, i.e. 704=GOD, 7004=GOOD.

Practicing Jews won't write 'God', they write G-d. (They also won't write 'Lord', they write L-rd.) They do this for two reasons: (1) It's out of respect - you can't put G-d on paper. (2) If you do write God, then that paper (or digital record) is now sacred and must be respected as such. You can't just throw it away, a special ceremony must be performed. But there's a third reason for writing G-d, it's the Kaballa/gematria explanation that G=7 and D=4. Therefore, G-d=7_4. This is most important!
