What is a Believer?
I would like to hear everyone weigh in on this.

In my humble opinion, a believer is one who not only has knowledge about issues, he also has enough experience therein to remove doubt to the point he can act upon the depth of his belief.

Sounds like you are describing the aspect of "Faith".
That is certainly one aspect of what it is to be a believer.

The A,B,C's of faith are:

A) Action,
B) based upon Belief,
C) which is sustained by Confidence

1) Faith is substance; In this case, it is the substance of things hoped for. Therefore, faith is the substance of salvation and heaven, because I hope for them, because of faith. Another way of saying it is - Faith "substantiates" hope. It is because of my faith, that which comes from the word of God, that salvation and heaven are expected by me, at some appointed day.

2) That "substantiation" of my expectation comes from evidence of things not seen. Example, I do not see wind in the trees, but I see the trees dance, and accept the explanation found in scripture, that wind moves trees, and trees are moved by wind. Because wind consistantly demonstrates tree movement, I consider the testimony about wind moving trees, to be substandiated in the dance of the trees.

I do not "see" angels, but scripture tells me the covenant was ordained in the hands of angels. We do not depend upon those things we can see, but rather we see those things upon which we can depend, like faith in God's words just because God said it.

3) My faith is sustained by every word that proceeds from God, and by every nuance of the Spirit that moves me to seek God's word as my starting point.
