How do you explain away John 14:23? - John 14:23 is clearly speaking of "Pentecost"
"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my
Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." (John 14:23)

Heb 9:28 speaks of us all having a "Pentecost" experience (of being "Born Again").
"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him
shall he appear the second time (in spirit form) without sin unto salvation." (Hebrews 9:28)

There are things which I do not understand, fully -- that I would like to understand. But that means that you may need to have an open mind as well.

Do you agree that people can think that they are in the truth, absolutely -- but you can see, and I can see, and others can see, that they have something wrong. That could be any of us, ourselves included.

So, let us look at those verses properly.

Religious indoctrination gets in the way of people having an open mind.
Once they are indoctrinated, people are reluctant to hear opposing views.
My view is based entirely on what is written in the Scripture concerning YHVH.

Jesus did not return on Pentecost. The Holy Spirit came on pentecost. Where you may be getting mixed up is in the fact that MAYBE the Holy Spirit is also called the Son of God (As in the Shepherd of Hermas).
