To All............This is what i believe is one of the most misunderstood then outside of Jesus being a God or a MORPHED Preexistent being . It causes a distortion in perceptions of things. It has it origins in mythology . This misunderstanding has created the existence as SATAN being a "BEING" Instead of a Spirit or (INTELLECT) that influences us in our minds and distorts the truth by making us think there is this person who can just take over us at his will, and nothing is further form the truth , there are no demon Beings going around jumping in and out of people at will, this teaching teaches us to look for some mythological beings or Ghost, or invisible "beings" of some kind going around taking control of us at will. If we look closely at scripture non of this is true , Spirits are (INTELLECTS) that existed from eternity with GOD, the are categorized into different types, i.e Clean and Unclean, Good and Evil, Spirits of or from GOD, These are all Intellects that can come into us from outside of us and we start taking them in as soon as we are born we begin absorbing them in to our minds, this is what John meant when he said all that is in the world , the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life are from the world, why because this is what we are being taught from berth , it has nothing to do with some devil being going around taking control of us, it has to do with thoughts being placed and loaded into us from outside of us. The Word Satan is in Hebrew, Ha Satan, and simply means a Adversary even GOD can be a Can be a Satan or adversary at times himslef, When Jesus said to Peter get behind me Satan he was simply saying to him get behind you adversary, because Peter was acting as an adversary to him , because he didn't comprehend the things of GOD at that time. He was no Satan "BEING" at all becasue there exist not such thing, as a Satan "BEING" .There is so much Mysteriousness in religion that it causes lots of confusion and alters the truth . I believe thing are so much simpler and clearer them most even begin to understand , and by clarifying these false understandings we can become free from those false teachings that in a way have entrapped us all. IMO

ED...........No that is not what i am saying brother. Not following how you got that from what i posted. What i am saying is the THE SPIRITS that ARE (IN) the Angels, GOD puts there, and then sends them forth to minister to the saints.

Spirit is not difficult to understand, it only become difficult when it is being presented as a Person or a sentinel being of some Kind, and this is where all the confusion comes from. There are no devil (Beings) or Ghosts (Beings) or SATAN (Beings) there is only what those words mean, Satan is simply any ADVERSARIAL SPIRIT (INTELLECT) that goes against GOD and his Will. That (INTELLECT) or SPIRIT working (IN) a Person is what a SATAN (IS) and that SPIRIT (intellect) is what we must Master wehn it conflicts with GOD"S WILL. Tt exist in all of us some the times, remember when Jesus said to the Pharisees you are of your Father the DEVIL and you do his deeds> What does that mean ?, they simply were "ADVERSE" in SPIRIT (intellects) to Jesus and that meant to GOD also, and his work..

Spirit is not a complicated word at all, only falser religion has made it that way, Like Mike who thinks it has all kinds of different Meanings , nothing can be further from the truth then That. In fact understanding what Spirit is, clears up so many Scripture in the bible for you it is amazing how many .IMO

Paraphrased......> Agree with your (adversary) Satan or devil quickly while you are in the way with him lest at any time the (adversary) Satan deliver you to the judge. don't take my word for this look up the word used there for Adversary and you will find the same word is translated SATAN>

You see that is all a SATAN IS, it is simply, (ANY) ADVERBIAL SPIRIT (INTELLECT) ANYONE HAS IN THEM that is against anything. God himself can be a SATAN and Has many times in scriptures.
If i say white and you say black you are a Satan to me and I am a Satan to you. That is all the word Satan means it is an adversarial Spirit (intellect) working in anyone at anytime. There are no Spook or Ghosts going around jumping in and out of people. Most spirit have to be invited into a person, by that person sowing to it, by opening the Door of his Mind up to it, and once it comes into you it begins to effect your thinking, So think on what so ever is Good and remember it say for the SPIRIT sincerely desire us , in Fact all Spirit desire Us ,both clean and unclean it Just a matter of who we open up to, Or minds are very much like a House we live in, and we need to guard who we allow into our house because it will definitely effect us and our lives. IMO

Ed J.............................I do believe they do have bodies different then our in the respect they can live for ever and appear and disappear, But you have to remember Jesus after his resurrection did that also . He had a body of Flesh and Bone but it could appear and disappear also. Jesus said we would be like the angels of heaven also, He said we must be born of Water and Spirit, I have thought about that before, one thing abut water it can appear in three states Solid, Liquid and Vapor. So i really do not know but Jesus said when a spirit goes out of a man it goes about in arid (waterless) places looking for rest. So it seem spirit desire bodies the contain water to live in. Just speculation on my part though.

I do believe Angels have Bodies of some kind i do not believe they are themselves Spirit Body beings, but beings with bodies that have Spirits in them place there by GOD> God is Pure Spirit and lives vicariously (IN) his Creation. The key is to understand what Spirit really is and many scriptures Just fall into place brother. Really things work more soundly then people think they do , there is a cause for every effect. There is a reason for everything it just coming to know the reasons and when you discover them or are shown them there is a soundness attached that goes along with it and it will make sense. IMO

Yes, Paul glimpsed the reality of heavenly bodies when he said "That ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance"

Jesus resurrected himself in the new form that we will be resurrected in.
