Johnson = John's son
Legend has it that John the Baptist & Mary Magdalen were married and had a son: the Apostle John. Upon the Baptist's execution, in the tradition of the day, the next of kin - Jesus - married the widow and adopted their son. This is encoded in Da Vinci's Last Supper through the likeness of John the Apostle or his mother Mary Magdalen.
